Lonzo Ball for Nike, Adidas, or Under Armour?
“If the price is right?”
With Lonzo Ball surprising NBA fans with Kobe Bryant shoes on, everything has gone completely haywire. The talk around town is that Ball is soon to sign with a major shoe company and no longer be part of his father’s “Big Baller Brand.”
LaVar Ball revealed to ESPN.com’s Darren Rovell on Saturday that his well-known son, Lonzo, could now sign with a noteworthy shoe brand in the wake of wearing Nikes and Adidas during Las Vegas Summer League play.
According to Bleacherreport.com, LaVar stated, “It’s making a statement to the brands of what they could have had with an open mind. The players are the brand ambassadors. The brand is nothing without the players.”
The only way Lonzo will be able to sign with anyone is if “the price is right.”
With Lonzo only in the summer league and already talk about a shoe signing deal, this is beyond crazy! Yet, with his proven performance at UCLA and now with the Lakers, there’s a deal that’s bound to come out of this very soon.
LaVar Ball believes that they are still a billion dollar brand with or without a deal.
According to Rovell, LaVar already solicited the preferences from Nike, Adidas and Under Armor for $1 billion to consent to Lonzo and an arrangement to sublicense items made by Big Baller Brand.
Somehow, some way, Big Baller Brand will appear in any deal being signed with Lonzo Ball.
Lonzo told Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times on Saturday that he will wear Stephen Curry’s Under Armour shoes in Saturday’s Summer League game versus the Brooklyn Nets.
Recently, the Ball family propelled Lonzo’s mark ZO2 shoe under the Big Baller Brand standard. The Ball family emphatically trusts that their items are nothing less than extravagance on your feet. Valued between $400-$600 only for pre orders, they better be.
