1). Villanova Wildcats- The Wildcats have now won 18 straight games dating back to last season.
2). UCLA Bruins- The Bruins are now 13-0 behind the shooting of star Bryce Alford.
3). Baylor Bears- Baylor is one of the most balanced teams in the nation this year.
4). Kansas Jayhawks- Josh Jackson continued on his journey towards being an NBA draft lottery pick scoring 21 in a win over UNLV.
5). Louisville Cardinals- The Cardinals proved in the win over Kentucky they can play with any team in the country.
6). Duke Blue Devils- How long will they be without Grayson Allen?
7). Kentucky Wildcats- Lack of outside shooting killed the Cats against the Cardinals.
8). North Carolina Tar Heels- Getting ready to head into ACC competition as a real contender to win the conference.
9). Gonzaga Bulldogs- Still undefeated, but also for the most part untested.
10). West Virginia Mountaineers- The Mountaineers were dominant over a solid Northern Kentucky University team, causing 25 turnovers.
11). Virginia Cavaliers- The Cavs are one of the best defensive teams in the country.
12). Creighton Blue Jays- The Blue Jays may be the best shooting team in the nation.
13). Butler Bulldogs- The Bulldogs are a legit threat in the loaded Big East.
14). Purdue Boilermakers- Purdue seems like they will be back in play for a Big 10 title this year.
15). Xavier Musketeers- Xavier has won three straight since the loss at Colorado.
16). Wisconsin Badgers- Typical Wisconsin excellent on defense.
17). Indiana Hoosiers- Blowing out Austin Peay does not tell us much about this team.
18). Arizona Wildcats- The Wildcats have won 5 straight since losing to Gonzaga.
19). Florida State Seminoles- Getting ready to play in the conference in the ACC, now we will see how good this team is?
20). Cincinnati Bearcats- Came from 15 points down to beat Marshall.
21). Florida Gators- The Gators have lost three games to teams ranked ahead of them.
22). Notre Dame Fighting Irish- A win over Colgate does not tell us much, but we already know this is a solid team.
23). USC Trojans- The Trojans finished the non-conference part of their schedule 13-0.
24). Miami(Fla)- The Hurricanes have lost five in a row since the loss to Florida.
25). Oregon Ducks- The Ducks have won 9 straight and next up is UCLA.
