Has there ever been a crazier week in college football history? Numbers 2,3, and 4 lost in the same day. This is a year where you could make a great case as to why there should be more than 4 teams in the College Football playoff. Either way, it is shaping up as one of the craziest seasons in college football history.

). Alabama Crimson Tide- Even when everything else is going crazy, you can depend on the tide to just keep rolling along.

). Ohio State Buckeyes- Looked like an also ran a few weeks ago, but with Urban Meyer as the coach you can never count them out. They always play their best football at the end of the season.

). Louisville Cardinals- Played horrible for a little more than a half. In the second half, they showed why they deserve to be here.

). Michigan Wolverines- Why are they still in the top four you might ask? They have wins over Wisconsin, Colorado and Penn State all teams in the top 25. So to me, they have more quality wins than the teams that are trying to surpass the.

). Clemson Tigers- Have not played up to their standards all year, playing too many games with an average team will eventually come back to bite you, and it did against Pitt. They still have a win over Louisville on the resume.

). Penn State Nittany Lions- Survived a scare against an up and coming Indiana team. Why are they at number 6 over Wisconsin? They have a win over Ohio State. The Big Ten championship game could very well be Penn State v.s Wisconsin now.

). Wisconsin Badgers- If they would have won either the Michigan or Ohio State game they would be sitting pretty right now. Get to the Big Ten championship game and win it, then they would have a chance at getting in the playoff.

). Washington Huskies- Ran into one of the hottest teams in the country and got beaten up. With Washington State looming at the end of the season, they could be in major trouble. Either way, they will need help to get back into the final 4.

). Colorado Buffaloes- This team like USC in the Pac 12 is very dangerous.

). Oklahoma Sooners- Started playing well too late in the season for this to matter.

). Western Michigan- Still undefeated and they have beaten two Big Ten teams. They may be good enough to be a final four team, but playing out of the MAC they will never get the chance.

). Auburn Tigers- Blew a golden opportunity on Saturday.

). West Virginia Mountaineers- Will be kicking themselves over last Saturday’s loss, They could have been in the conversation. Beat an improving Texas team on Saturday.

). San Diego State Aztecs- Another easy win, like Western Michigan they will not get a shot even if they deserve it.

). Florida State Seminoles- A Blowout win over Boston College.

). Utah Utes- Easy win over Arizona State.

). Florida Gators- Solid win over South Carolina, the defense is still largely missing.

). USC Trojans- Talk about a turnaround? The Last time they were on primetime against a top 4 team they got destroyed. Fast forward two months and they are beating Washington in Washington.

). Washington State Cougars- Mike Leach as done a great job in turning this team around in just the course of a season.

). LSU Tigers- Easy win over Arkansas.

). Oklahoma State Cowboys- Exciting shootout win over Texas Tech.

). Nebraska Cornhuskers- After two tough weeks, the Huskers get back on track with a win over Minnesota.

). Texas A&M- Talk about a free fall.

). Boise State Broncos- Blew out Hawaii 52-16.

). Navy Midshipmen- Big 42-40 win over a good Tulsa team.
