). Alabama Crimson Tide- Had trouble offensively against LSU, but the defense is elite and the main reason they are number one.

). Michigan Wolverines- Another blowout win against a Maryland team with a winning record.

). Clemson Tigers- An impressive performance against a decent Syracuse team. The Tigers look like they are starting to put it all together again.

). Washington Huskies- The only people that think this team is not for real are the people that haven’t seen them play.

). Louisville Cardinals- Is there any doubt that Lamar Jackson is going to win the Heisman trophy.

). Ohio State Buckeyes- The Buckeyes seem to have it clicking again. The Matchup with Michigan will be an epic clash.

). Wisconsin Badgers- The lack of offense is why they will not make the final four. The best wins they have on their resume are over Iowa and LSU and make no mistake LSU under Les Miles was nowhere near a great team.

). Auburn Tigers- Not convinced on the Tigers yet either, but they will have a chance to prove it against Alabama in a few weeks.

). Penn State Nittany Lions- I really believe the Lions are the third best team in the Big Ten now, behind Michigan and Ohio State.

). Western Michigan Broncos- Still undefeated, this is a very well coached team.

). Colorado Buffalos- This is one of the best defensive teams in the country.

). Oklahoma Sooners- Is any quarterback playing better than Baker Mayfield?

). Florida State- Solid win at N.C.State.

). San Diego State- A very good team led by the best running back in college football Donnell Pumphrey.

). West Virgina- Rebounded well after a tough loss.

). LSU Tigers- If only they had a quarterback?

). Texas A&M- A devastating loss to Mississippi State, as always the start the year out great and fizzle towards the end.

). Florida Gators- Great defense, no offense.

). Utah Utes- Bye Week.

). Washington State- Maybe the hottest team in the country. Rivalry matchup looms against Washington.

). Virginia Tech- Solid win.

). Oklahoma State Cowboys- Survived aTough game against Kansas State.

). USC Trojans- The Trojans are on fire!

). North Carolina Tar Heels- Solid win keeps them in the top 25.

). Nebraska Cornhuskers- Second straight tough loss, defense is good, but the Cornhuskers are sorely lacking in offense.
