I was 6-5 last week, bringing my record for the year to 53-38 against the spread.

No. 12 Oklahoma vs. Iowa State

WhenThursday, 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)

The Line: Oklahoma (-21)

Baker Mayfield and the Sooners offense is hot, but Iowa State has played well and scored points at home this year and the Sooners defense is not that great. Sooners win Cyclones cover.

Pick: Iowa State (+21)

UCLA vs. No. 21 Colorado

WhenThursday, 9 p.m. ET (Fox Sports 1)

The Line: Colorado (-11.5)

It looks like UCLA QB Josh Rosen will be out again, against anybody that mean trouble for UCLA. Colorado is a very good team, especially on defense.

Pick: Colorado (-11)

San Jose State vs. No. 24 Boise State

WhenFriday, 10:15 p.m. ET (ESPN2)

The Line: Boise State (-28.5)

After last week’s upset, I look for the Broncos to make short work of the Spartans.

Pick: Boise State (-28.5)

No. 8 Wisconsin vs. Northwestern

WhenSaturday, noon ET (ABC)

The Line: Wisconsin (-6.5)

Both teams are very good defensively, the difference to me will be on offense where I think Northwestern is better than the Badgers. I think the Wildcats will win straight up.

Pick: Northwestern (+6.5)

No. 22 Oklahoma State vs. Kansas State

When: Saturday, 3:30 p.m. ET (ABC/ESPN2)

The Line: Kansas State (-2.5)

Hard to believe Kansas State is the favorite in this game. I will go with Mason Rudolph and the Cowboys.

Pick: Oklahoma State (+2.5)

No. 14 Florida vs. Arkansas

WhenSaturday, 3:30 p.m. ET (CBS)

The Line: Florida (-3.5)

Florida’s defense will win them this game, I just don’t see Arkansas recovering from last week’s loss.

Pick: Florida (-3.5)

No. 1 Alabama vs. No. 15 LSU

When: Saturday, 8 p.m. ET (CBS)

The Line: Alabama (-7)

LSU has been a different team since the firing of Les Miles. LSU will try to run the ball and have a more diverse passing attack. The only problem is they do not have a game changing QB. I will take Alabama here to shut the Tigers up.

Pick: Alabama (-7)

No. 9 Nebraska vs. No. 6 Ohio State

When: Saturday, 8 p.m. ET (ABC)

The Line: Ohio State (-17)

If the Ohio State from earlier in the season shows up, a blowout is very possible. While I think the Buckeyes will explode again soon, I don’t see it happening here. Nebraska has a great defense, but the offense is another issue. I think the Huskers defense keeps it close, but the offense will not be able to win it for them.

Pick: Nebraska (+17)
