I’ve made an agreement with the Grueling Truth to reveal, no matter how good or how bad, my Draft Kings picks for each week of the CFL season.

But you know what? I think it’s going to jeopardize my results, so I’m just not going to take part in Week 17. See ya later.

That’s *exactly* what the Edmonton Eskimos did this week when they decided not to take part in “CFL Wired” at the very last minute. I find it hard to believe that taking part in these games has given opponents any sort of advantage (see: Calgary)m but look at the characters that *have* been good sports about it.

Chris Jones, the very reluctant Kent Austin and Wally freakin’ Buono all took part in CFL Wired. Say what you will about what it added to the game but if Edmonton agreed to take part, they should have followed through. Enough with the paranoia already.

Whether I want to reveal these or not, here’s who I’m rolling with in DraftKings CFL daily fantasy football this week.

Darian Durant (SSK QB $8,600) – The Toronto Argonauts are an absolute mess. I’d love to tell you I saw this coming all along but at the beginning of the season I picked Toronto to finish first in the East Division. I liked their offseason moves and I loved the fact that the Argos had their very own home and less adversity to fight through to begin the season.

Boy, was I wrong: Durant has thrown for 654 yards, 3 touchdowns and rushed for another score in his past two games. The Riders are eliminated from playoff contention but Durant is playing for some extra dollars on his upcoming contract and Chris Jones is too passionate to just give up against his former employer. I’ll save some Draft Kings cash and roll with Durant for another week.

Jerome Messam (CGY RB $8,500) – On paper, the Montreal Alouettes should have a decent run defense but the results just aren’t there. They’re on the field way too much and teams are wearing them down on the ground. What better running back to do that than Jerome Messam? Messam has 10 rushing touchdowns in his last 10 games. The Als have given up 683 yards on the ground over the past four games. Need any more reasons why you should start Messam?

Kamar Jorden (CGY WR $6,800) – Calgary has been nice enough to bless us with multiple options in daily fantasy. Jorden has 34 targets in his past three games and will want to continue to produce so he doesn’t lose his job to a healthy Joe West. He’s putting up Adarius Bowman numbers right now and with Bowman on BYE, Jorden should cost a lot more than $6,800.

Emmanuel Arceneaux (BC WR $9,300) – The Manny Show had a slower start to the season, but that’s just like any show isn’t it? Slow to start building up to an incredible second half to the season and an awesome season finale? Manny has 378 yards and 3 touchdowns over his past three games and Winnipeg’s pass defense leaves a lot to be desired. If that defense isn’t forcing turnovers, they allow a lot of passing yards (most in the CFL) so go with Manny Arceneaux in Week 17.

Greg Ellingson (OTT FLEX $6,500) – Someone needs to pick up the slack in Ottawa with the loss of Chris Williams. You’re up, Greg Ellingson. Ellingson had 2 touchdowns and 97 yards a week ago and most of those yards came after Henry Burris took over for Trevor Harris. Burris clearly has a special chemistry with Ellingson (who can forget last year’s East Final?) and Chris Williams’s targets need to go somewhere. The Tiger-Cat defense has had a rough couple games and you can bet last year’s MOP is going to want to show he still has it. I expect Ellingson to benefit and have a nice game against his former team.
