This week saw the Calgary Stampeders silence any critics they may have left. The Redblacks continued to struggle, and the Lions bounced back from what could have been a devastating loss.

1). Calgary Stampeders (7-1-1)

Bo Levi Mitchell as always played well, and the Stampeders defence has solidified it’s place at the top of the CFL. This is by far the best team in this league right now.

Next Up: Host Edmonton Eskimos

2). B.C.Lions (6-3)

B.C bounced back after last weeks debacle against Calgary. To go into Ottawa and pull out a close hard fought game says a lot about this team.

3). Winnipeg Blue Bombers (5-4)

Justin Medlock kicked six field goals and Andrew Harris notched a late major as the red-hot Winnipeg Blue Bombers topped the Montreal Alouettes 32-18 Friday night at Percival Molson Stadium. Don’t look now but that’s four straight for the streaking Bombers.

Next Up: @Saskatchewan Roughriders

4). Edmonton Eskimos (5-4)

The Eskimos overcame the loss of their starting RB John White. Thanks to an electrifying performance from Shakir Bell, who scored his first touchdown of 2016 and racked up 170 yards from scrimmage in a 33-25 Eskimos victory the Eskimos found a way too win. Esks QB Mike Reilly also had a productive day, throwing for two scores and adding another one with his legs in the win. Next up is Calgary, that will answer if the Eskimos are for real or not?

5). Hamilton Tiger Cats (4-5)

Tough loss in Calgary, but this team will slowly put it all together. They are too talented of a team not too.

Next Up: Host Toronto

6). Ottawa Redblacks (4-4-1)

It was a nail-biter from start to finish, with neither team ever leading by more than six points, but it was the Lions who scored last in this one, taking the victory 29-23. Not even Trevor Harris coming back could save the RedBlacks from yet another loss. On the bright side Ottawa played better than they had the last few weeks.

Next Up: @Montreal

7). Montreal Alouettes (3-6)

The Alouettes once again followed up an impressive victory with a loss. Luckily they are still in the divisional race. They face a big matchup at home with the Ottawa Redblacks.

Next Up: Host Ottawa Redblacks

8). Toronto Argonauts (4-4)

Finally Logan Kilgore has went a week without an interception.

Next Up: Host B.C.Lions

9). Saskatchewan Roughriders (1-7)

Darian Durant played well, but it wasn’t enough to save the Roughriders from yet another defeat.

Next Up: Host Winnipeg Blue Bombers
