It is beginning to look more and more like the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are for real. Can anyone stop the Stampeders? Will the Redblacks get the ship righted anytime soon? Just a few questions after week 13, as we head down the stretch this league looks like one dominant team and then everybody else.

1). Calgary Stampeders (10-1-1)

The Stamps scored 30 points in the first quarter and despite a valiant effort from the REDBLACKS’ defence in the third quarter, came away with the victory improving their record to 10-1-1. Stamps are so good they are scary right now.

NEXT UP: Host Winnipeg

2). B.C. Lions (8-3)

Coming off a bye week.

NEXT UP: @Edmonton

3). Winnipeg Blue Bombers (8-4)

Matt Nichols was solid again, completing 24 of his 33 passes for 232 yards and a touchdown, while Timothy Flanders made sure the ground game didn’t miss a beat, as the Bombers downed the Toronto Argonauts 46-29 Saturday afternoon at Investors Group Field.

NEXT UP: @Calgray

4). Hamilton Tiger Cats (6-6)

Halfback Emanuel Davis led the way for the Hamilton defence – recording an interception along with two fumble recoveries – helping the Ticats outlast the Alouettes 20-17  in a defensive battle in Hamilton.

NEXT UP: @Saskatchewan

5). Ottawa Redblacks (5-5-1)

Got beat up by Calgary, but who doesn’t? Need to get a streak going soon if they want to be relevant.

NEXT UP: Host Toronto

6). Edmonton Eskimos (5-7)

In a lot of trouble after this lose. The schedule is brutal the rest of the year.

NEXT UP: Host B.C. Lions

7). Toronto Argonauts (5-7)

Ran into a buzzsaw against Winnipeg.

NEXT UP: @Ottawa

8). Montreal Alouettes (3-9)

Once again the defence played well and the offence did very little.

9). Saskatchewan Roughriders (2-10)

Darian Durant set up a game-tying touchdown with two minutes left, then did the rest himself, scoring the game-winning touchdown in overtime to lift the Riders to a 26-23 win over the Edmonton Eskimos on Sunday afternoon in Regina. Still in last, but probably not for long should pass Alouettes soon.

NEXT UP: Host Hamilton

This is the first time that I totally agree with the analysis. Then again, this last weeks games provided little room for controversy.
