Dez Bryant Recruiting for the Dallas Cowboys
Dez Bryant let all of us understand his emotions about this year’s Dallas Cowboys roster last month, calling it the best team he’s been on in his seven-year career. However, that doesn’t imply there isn’t room for improvement.
According to Fox Sports, the veteran wideout took to Twitter on Saturday in the hopes of bolstering Dallas’ secondary, which lost Brandon Carr, Morris Claiborne, Barry Church and J.J. Wilcox in free agency, reaching out to one of the largest names still on the market – Darrelle Revis.
Revis was part of the Big Apple Jets’ veteran purging this offseason after his play dropped off notably last season. The Jets nonetheless owe the 31-year-old $6 million unless he signs with some other team, however, it’s not likely an employer will pony up that kind of cash for the former Super Bowl cornerback.
Dallas has addressed its desires inside the secondary by way of adding Nolan Carroll and Robert Blanton in free agency and drafting Chidobe Awuzie and Jourdan Lewis.
