NFL news? We’ve got you covered! The following are the Grueling Truth’s top stories from around the league for Sunday, August 13th.

1) Ravens guard Alex Lewis out for the season
More bad news for the Baltimore Ravens as Alex Lewis will be out for the season. Just how many more losses can the Ravens stand?

2) Marshawn Lynch sits for National Anthem
Beast Mode has now sat for the anthem; luckily for him, the NFL won’t touch him because if they do, it would certainly look like a racist move. What is amazing to me is the fact that most Donald Trump supporters get highly emotional when somebody sits during the anthem. Why is that amazing to me when Donald Trump himself refused to serve his country by dodging the draft? So what’s worse: sitting for the anthem or dodging the draft?

3) Tampa Bay cuts former second round pick Roberto Aguayo
Just a little over a year after drafting kicker Roberto Aguayo, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have basically admitted they made a mistake by cutting him on Saturday. Aguayo in Friday night’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, missed an extra point and a 47-yard field goal attempt. The Bucs had finally seen enough.

4) Cowboys, Rams show why preseason sucks
The Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams put on a performance that included a combined 21 first downs against nine turnovers for the game. The sad thing is that the NFL continues to charge full price for an inferior product. If you are a season-ticket holder, the NFL forces you to pay full price for these games and that is criminal. Shouldn’t the NFL at some point give a damn about the fans? I know they won’t, as they care only about the bottom line.
