Donte Moncrief, WR, Indianapolis Colts
Moncrief’s first couple of years have been hit and miss. I think his third year will see him breakout into being one of the top receivers in the league.
Jeremy Langford, RB, Chicago Bears
Langford has a chance to be a very special player, he is a versatile back who can do a little bit of everything. If the Bears offensive line can be even decent Langford will rush for over 1,ooo yards this season.
Jameis Winston, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Winston had a very good rookie season last year and with the skill position players around him expect even more this year.
Alex Erickson, WR/KR, Cincinnati Bengals
Was a walk on at Wisconsin and became an excellent player. The Bengals signed him as a undrafted free agent, that was not even welcome to the combine. During preseason he has proven to be a very explosive return man and receiver, as they say he makes plays.
Robert Griffin III, QB, Cleveland Browns
The Browns may only win a handful of games here but I believe RG3 will have an excellent season. If the Browns give new head coach Hue Jackson a few years to turn the mess around in Cleveland, I think he will and RG3 could be a big part of it.
Melvin Gordon, RB, San Diego Chargers
Gordon had a disappointing rookie season. I think that will change this year. Gordon is way too talented to not breakout this season. The addition of Ken Whisenhunt at OC will go a long way in getting Gordon going in the right direction.
Lamar Miller, RB, Houston Texans
Texans coach Bill O’Brien loves to pound the ball, and Miller is the perfect back to do just that. In Houston he will have a better offensive line than he did in Miami. Look for Miller to have a huge season!
DeAndre Washington, RB, Oakland Raiders
He is the Raiders second back, but his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield will garner him a lot of playing time. At Texas Tech Washington was deadly in the spread passing game, expect him to catch a lot of screen passes from QB Derek Carr this year.
Sammy Watkins, WR, Buffalo Bills
If Watkins can play a complete season he will put up astronomical numbers. He is an amazing physical marvel and is on the verge of stardom.
Tyler Boyd, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
Boyd is a rookie that should have a big season, with Sanu and Jones gone a lot will be expected of Boyd. Boyd showed that he was an explosive dominant wide receiver at Pitt and I think that will carry over to the Bengals.
Carlos Hyde, RB, San Francisco 49ers
Hyde is a physical runner who will have a huge season for the 49ers. The niners have question marks all over the place, but not at RB. Hyde by the time this season is over will be considered one of the top backs in the league.
