This is a game with huge playoff implications for the 9-5 Miami Dolphins, while the Bills still have slim playoff hopes.
Miami Dolphins- The Dolphins were horrible early in the year starting out 1-4, since that slow start they have won 8 out of 9 games. The Dolphins looked to be in trouble when starting QB Ryan Tannehill went down two weeks ago during the game against the Arizona Cardinals. Backup QB Matt Moore stepped up and pulled out the Cardinals game and then went off last week against the Jets throwing 4 TD passes.
Buffalo Bills- The Bills will be trying to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. The Bills have multiple questions to answer, number one what is the future of head coach Rex Ryan? Will Tyrod Taylor return next year as the Bills starting QB? The Bills have been inconsistent all year, but they are a dangerous opponent for any team to play.
Keys To the Game
Can Matt Moore continue to play at a high level?- Veteran Matt Moore replaced Tannehill and even though he made his first start in five seasons last week against the Jets he played tremendous throwing 4 TD passes. The question will be can he do it against one of the NFL’s best defenses against the pass?
Can the Bills stop Jay Ajayi?- In these teams, first matchup Ajayi ran for over 200 yards. Ajayi has cooled down since his hot start and has only averaged 60 yards a game since his hot start. It is imperative to the Dolphins playoff chances that Ajayi gets back in a groove to help relieve some of the pressure from Moore.
The Bills will be healthy this time-The In the teams first meeting that the Dolphins won by three points the Bills played without their number one wide Receiver Sammy Watkins, and their star running back LeSean McCoy left the game early with an injury.
The key to this game will be decided by who can control the ball on the ground. Both teams are fully capable of doing this, right now the Dolphins are playing better and even though the game is in Buffalo I think the Dolphins win a close hard fought game. Dolphins 20 Bills 17.
