Detroit at New Orleans

The Lions are one of the biggest surprises of this NFL season; the Saints are an excellent home team. Huge game for both teams with significant playoff implications. If the Lions win this game, it will go a long way in advancing their hopes for winning the NFC North title.

Pick: Saints 31  Lions 27

Denver at Jacksonville

After Sunday night’s loss at home to the Chiefs, a win in Jacksonville is imperative for the Broncos. The Jaguars, on the other hand, continue to get close, but lose in the end.

Pick: Broncos 24  Jaguars 17

San Francisco at Chicago

This would be a great matchup if it were 1985, it is not 1985, and this is a terrible matchup, flip a coin.

Pick: Bears 20 49ers 17

Houston at Green Bay

Playoff implications in this game, that fact alone will tell you neither of these teams is in very good divisions.

Pick: Packers 34  Texans 20

Kansas City at Atlanta

Great matchup! I just do not think the Chiefs have enough terrorizing to keep up with the Falcons.

Pick: Falcons 27  Chiefs 21

Miami at Baltimore

Big game for both teams, I look for the Ravens run defense to slow down Dolphins RB Jay Ajayi down just enough to force Ryan Tannehill to beat them.

Pick: Ravens 24  Dolphins 20

Philadelphia at Cincinnati

The Eagles defensive line will make the difference in this game. The Bengals offensive line may be the worst in the NFL.

Pick: Eagles 17  Bengals 13

Buffalo at Oakland

The Bills will give the Raiders trouble, but in the end, they will come up a little short.

Pick: Raiders 34  Bills 27

Tampa Bay at San Diego

With the Bucs remaining schedule, they need a win in this game. This is what people call a “trap game.” The Bucs are young, and I think will have a hard time getting focused after last week’s huge win over the Seahawks.

Pick: Chargers 30  Buccaneers 24

New York Giants at Pittsburgh Steelers

Can the Steelers secondary slow down the Giants passing attack? Probably not, but I think the Steelers take this in a shoot out.

Pick: Steelers 38  Giants 31

Washington at Arizona

The Cardinals have been a disappointment for most people this year and the Redskins are hot.

Pick: Redskins 28  Cardinals 20

Carolina at Seattle

The Panthers just don’t seem to be able to get their season headed in the right direction. Seattle will bounce back big time this week.

Pick: Seahawks 27  Panthers 13

Indianapolis at New York Jets

Should be kept close by the Jets defensive line terrorizing Andrew Luck. In the end, Luck will make just enough plays to win the game.

Pick: Colts 24  Jets 23
