Los Angeles Rams@Detroit

The Rams surprisingly have a winning record on the back of a strong defensive front. The problem has been the quarterback position, which has been inconsistent, to say the least. Detroit has played well at home and I think Matthew Stafford and Marvin Jones will put up too many points for the Rams to keep up with.

Jacksonville@Chicago

The Jaguars are a team that just never quite seems to be able to take it to the next level, the Bears, on the other hand, are also in some disarray. I will go with the Jags who have multiple weapons on offense in this one.

Jaguars 24  Bears 20

Carolina@New Orleans

The Panthers have not played like defending NFC champions so far this year. The Saints, on the other hand, have played well for the most part , but seem more often than not to come out on the short end in those games. The Saints are a dangerous team at the Super Dome and will be too much for the Panthers.

Saints 34  Panthers 24

San Francisco@Buffalo

Two teams going in opposite directions, I will take the team going in the right direction.

Bills 37  49ers 21

Cleveland@Tennessee

The Browns QB carousel looks like it will continue, the Titans are a team that seems to improve each week.

Titans 30  Browns 10

Baltimore@New York Giants

The Ravens have lost two in a row and the Giants are short at running back and the secondary. Tough game to pick.

Giants 23  Ravens 17

Philadelphia@Washington

Both teams have played well, the skins are at home, but I think the Eagles defense will be the difference in this game.

Eagles 21  Redskins 20

Cincinnati@New England

Injuries have killed the Bengals depth, with their backs against the wall they could be a dangerous team. The Patriots have Belichick and Brady, that is all I need to pick the Patriots here.

Patriots 38  Bengals 20

Pittsburgh@Miami

Do I really need to explain this pick at all?

Steelers 35  Dolphins 13

Kansas City@Oakland

The Raiders look like legit contenders, but this is a rivalry game. I think the Raiders are just a better team than the Chiefs and pull this out late.

Raiders 27  Chiefs 24

Dallas@Green Bay

Sure Green Bay is number one against the run, but have faced most teams backup running backs. The Cowboys have the best offensive line in football, a QB that doesn’t turn the ball over. Throw in a Cowboys pass defense that has been better than anyone expected, I’m going to go with the Cowboys here.

Cowboys 20  Packers 16

Atlanta@Seattle

The Falcons have maybe the best offense in the league. The Seahawks have maybe the best defense in the league. This is a possible NFC Championship game preview.

Seattle 24  Falcons 23

Indianapolis@Houston

The Colts defense is bad, the offensive line is bad. The Texans have no QB, no J.J.Watt. Tough game to pick, so I will go with the home team.

Texans 26  Colts 24

New York Jets@Arizona

I thought both teams would be better than what they have been. This will be closer than most expect.

Cardinals 24  Jets 21
