1).  Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M
Height: 6-5. Weight: 270.
Projected 40 Time: 4.60.

Garrett looks right now to be the first player taken in the draft. Garrett has an amazing first step, he is a freak athlete with amazing hips and he gets around the corner fast. He can get pushed around at the point of attack, but with the right coaching that is easily fixable. Garrett will be an elite pass-rusher from his first snap in the NFL.

2). Derek Barnett, DE, Tennessee
Height: 6-3. Weight: 268.
Projected 40 Time: 4.75.

Barnett much like Garrett has great hips and plays with great leverage. Can have trouble defending the run and will need to keep working on his strength when he gets to the NFL. He doesn’t have a lot of moves he tends to rely on his speed to get him by. Needs to develop a go to move, whether it is a rip, Spin or whatever. He will not be able to make it in the NFL on speed alone.

3). Charles Harris, DE/OLB, Missouri
Height: 6-3. Weight: 260.
Projected 40 Time: 4.77.

Harris is very intriguing and has a chance to be as good as anybody as an edge rusher. He has an explosive first step and a great spin move he redirects very quickly. The thing I think he needs to work on the most are his hips, he does not have the bend needed to run the hoop and get to the QB. If he improves the flexibility in his hips he can become a great player in the NFL.

4). Solomon Thomas, DE/OLB, Stanford
Height: 6-3. Weight: 273.
Projected 40 Time: 4.80.

Thomas is a very intelligent high character who would actually fit perfect as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense. Thomas has nice speed, but I think being a 4-3 Defensive End would not be the best thing for his career.

5). Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan
Height: 6-6. Weight: 272.
Projected 40 Time: 4.84.

Charlton will either be a standup Linebacker in a 3-4 or a Defensive end in a 4-3 defense. He was a backup at Michigan until this past year. He has good strength and plays fast.
