This week on the Rouge, White & Blue CFL Podcast, co-host Os Davis says “au revoir” to now-jobless now-former Montreal Alouettes head coach Jacques Chapdelaine and defensive coordinator Noel Thorpe. Os also has a “welcome back” for RWB co-host Joe Pritchard, who’s back from a momentous trip north to see his beloved Winnipeg Blue Bombers torch the Saskatchewan Roughriders. (Joe didn’t miss a show, but hey…)

Speaking of those Roughriders, Joe presents a couple of original haikus submitted by the guys at Maple Syrup Shots, the spoils of victory on a Bombers backer’s bet.

And thanks to a shabby loss by the Ottawa Roughriders to the league’s worst team, the CFL is one step closer to the RWB-advocated idea of a single-division format for the league in 2017.

Plus the RWBers make their picks for next week’s games, taking the pointspreads into consideration as well and whoo are there some attractive doozies this week – RedBlacks-regardless-of-QB giving just 2 at Montreal? Edmonton giving just 2½ at Toronto? Come on…

Finally, Johnny Manziel in the CFL? Wellllllll…
