Irish Football Weekly starts with Tony and Josh discussing the monsoon of conditions for the previous game against North Carolina State, and how that changed the game for both teams. The preparation was important this week when it comes to being ready for the weather and Josh was unsure if the Irish were prepared for that. Tony gives praise to the defense for their approach and plays against a good Wolfpack offense. The guys also discuss the offensive woes and possibilities that could have happened for the Irish.
Josh and Tony get the listeners ready for the upcoming home game against the Stanford Cardinals, this Saturday at 7:40pm. There is a definite background among these programs and even a trophy to win for this game. They talk about some of the things that Irish need to do to win, and some insight on Stanford coming into this very important game for both teams.
Josh is one game behind in the “Three Toughest Picks” segment, and he hopes to change that with his picks this week. Tony discusses his reasoning for his score and results in the segment, “Irish Prediction Time”. As they conclude the show, for “Fun Fact Finish” segment, Josh explains something very historical that many may not know.
