The NCAA baseball tournament came and went for the five Big Ten teams that made it in. The youngster and old man talk about what happened for each of the five teams, as none of the five made it to the Super Regional round.
Kevin and Troy then talk about the breaking news of the week, as hours prior to the show, Ohio State basketball head coach Thad Matta was fired. The duo breaks down what happened, if the firing deserved, who the next coach of the Buckeyes could be and just hot great is the Ohio State basketball job?
Finally, the last high-end recruit in the Class of 2017 in regard to basketball signed this past week, when 5-star prospect Brian Bowen signed with Louisville. Bowen, from Saginaw, Mich., was leaning Michigan State’s way throughout his high school career, so, what happened? Once the Spartans’ Miles Bridges, another small forward, decided he would be returning to school, Bowen shied away and went to play for Rick Pitino and the Cardinals.
Was Bowen’s decision smart? Should he have avoided the Spartans just because Bridges came back to school? Kevin and Troy weigh in on the 6-foot-7 lengthy small forward’s decision.
