This week on Irish Football Weekly, Tony and Josh talk about the high scoring match between Syracuse and the Irish. The offense had some great distribution of the football to multiple players that made some big plays for Notre Dame. That high-powered offense showed some big play ability throughout the game as well. As for the defense, they showed some progress with new Defensive Coordinator, Greg Hudson. Tony and Josh discuss the transition of that defense and what they saw as improvements on the defensive side of the ball.

The Irish play North Carolina State in Raleigh, North Carolina on Saturday at Carter-Findley Stadium. They go up against a highly-ranked offense which will be a huge test for that rejuvenated defense. Josh gives some important stats to pay attention to as there is a new leader of the defense. Tony and Josh give their opinions on how the Irish can drive away with a win against the Wolfpack.

Their segment of “Three Toughest Picks” has gotten interesting with Josh being only one game back as of now. That competition is heating up and getting better and better each week. When the segment comes to “Irish Prediction” time on the show, they each have a high scoring affair as that defense improves each week. Plus, there are some very eye-opening stats for “Fun Facts at the Finish” segment that will make us Irish fans have a different perspective of this 2016 team.
