We are back from a 2 week vacation and, even though we were taking some time off, Major League Baseball sure didn’t.

The Commissioner of Baseball announced punishment and sanctions handed down to the Atlanta Braves for their blatant disregard of baseball rules as it pertained to signing international players. Commissioner Manfred set a precedent by levying multiple suspensions, including a lifetime ban. What does this mean for the Braves over the next several seasons and beyond and who got banned?

Plus, if you haven’t already seen or heard the BBWAA regular season awards are in. Do you remember our picks? How did we do, and which award do we disagree with?

Finally, we pay homage to 2 great players in Roy Halladay who died from a plane crash and Carlos Beltran who hangs up the spikes after 2 decades in the big leagues.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Out of Left Field and The Grueling Truth Network.
