In this week’s episode of Norsin’ Around, James and Alex review the past week’s games from NKU Norse Men’s and Women’s Basketball. The NKU men’s basketball team comes off of back-to-back road wins against Morehead State and Norfolk State. Drew McDonald of the Norse became the second-ever in the program to receive a Horizon League Player of the Week honor. McDonald shot a career high 32 points where it marked his fifth straight game scoring at least 20 points. He then followed up with 18 points and seven rebounds in a 72-61 victory over Norfolk State. The Women’s team comes off of a 54-45 loss at home against Stetson during the first annual Victor’s Hoops 4 Health Day, where many elementary students attended the game. The Men’s team plays at home against Eastern Illinois on Wednesday, December 7th with tipoff scheduled for 7 pm. Then the women’s team plays at Indiana on Thursday the 8th at 7 pm, followed by a 1:00 pm tipoff at home on Saturday the 10th against Murray State.
