On Oct. 30, 2011, we were honored on The Ringside Boxing Show to do an in-depth interview with Hall of Famer Angelo Dundee, legendary trainer of Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Willie Pastrano, Carmen Basilio, Luis Rodriguez, and 45-year-old George Foreman on the night he knocked out Michael Moorer to regain the heavyweight crown.
On this special edition of The Ringside Boxing Show, we spoke at length to Dundee about his spectacular career, and he responded with countless colorful stories. This conversation with Dundee (who claims on our show that he wrote all of Ali’s poetry) is a wild ride for boxing fans, and may well have been the last in-depth interview Dundee ever did. He died less than four months later.

Don’t forget to listen to the weekly edition of our show, which is posted on the gruelingtruth.net sports network every Sunday about 7 p.m. Pacific, 8 Mountain, 9 Central, 10 Eastern.
