Rouge, White & Blue CFL Podcast co-host Joe Pritchard can finally breathe a sigh of relief, as his beloved Winnipeg Blue bombers are finally (finally!) set in their playoff bid. And so he’s more than happy to talk some CFL postseason on this week’s episode of the RWB.

Things didn’t turn out so well for co-host Os Davis’s Montreal Alouettes in 2016, but Os does pay tribute to the outgoing general manager Jim Popp, a guy who’s been with the franchise since its days as the Baltimore Stallions. So long, Mr. Popp, as a new era begins in Quebec!

After a brief rundown of last week’s games – half of which were ultimately meaningless for the “second season” – Os and Joe look ahead to this weekend’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats-Edmonton Eskimos and Bombers-BC Lions matchups. They also look back on their sometimes grievous, sometimes prescient preseason predictions. (Whither art thou, playoff-bound Toronto Argonauts…?)

All this in episode 51 of the RWB, plus the tale of an awesome find at a secondhand store by Os plus the inevitable Jim Mora sample.

Also, for no good reason other than general hilarity and Joe’s gratuitous mention thereof in this episode, there’s this:
