MONTREAL, QUE.: OCTOBER 2, 2016 -- Montreal Alouettes head coach Jacques Chapdelaine celebrates turnaround play against the Toronto Argonauts on Sunday October 2, 2016. (Pierre Obendrauf / MONTREAL GAZETTE) ORG XMIT: 57197 - 0216

Rouge, White & Blue CFL Podcast co-host Joe Pritchard may have been officially eliminated from both his CFL fantasy football leagues over the past weekend, but no matter! He’s blasé enough – disappointly blasé, if you ask co-host Os Davis, who bested him in at least one such league – to carry on and complete episode 46 of the RWB.

We’ve got news aplenty to start things off, as the Saskatchewan Roughriders add on a duo (or trio) of NFL-bubble players while the Toronto Argonauts jettison three receivers in a show of force that may signal a running of the white flag on the Argos’ 2016 season. (Sure, Os smells conspiracy-like behavior!)

As we do, we break down last week’s games, which appear to have solidified playoff positions for a pair of teams (Calgary Stampeders and BC Lions, natch) while suddenly making the standing of Joe’s beloved Winnipeg Blue bombers a bit shaky. And despite losing in the game of the week, the Ottawa RedBlacks look better than they have in months, the guys surmise. Finally, Os enthuses about signs of life in his Montreal Alouettes, and everybody wonders again about those mysterious (and infuriating) Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

As for next week’s games, well, Os tries to redeem a 2-2 showing in week 14.
