Ever-optimistic Rouge White & Blue CFL Podcast co-host Joe Pritchard is slightly crestfallen on this week’s episode, having witnessed the virtual end of his Winnipeg Blue Bombers in a disastrous-across-the-board loss in Vancouver in week 19. RWB co-host Os Davis, as a Montreal Alouettes fan, sympathizes. Sort of.
But hey, the RWB isn’t all downbeat – after all, Os and Joe believe respectively that four and five teams have a legitimate shot to at least advance to the Grey Cup. We take a look at all the CFL games, even those not involving the Bombers, of week 19.
The RWB goes on to preview week 20’s games (It’s already the final week of the 2017 CFL season? Damn.) and, interestingly enough, manage to disagree on the only two games that really matter in the greater scheme of things, i.e. Edmonton Eskimos at Saskatchewan Roughriders and Toronto Argonauts at BC Lions.
Are you ready for some CFL playoff football? Everyone is. Well, almost everyone…
